Powell Barrister Professional Corporation, founded in 2005, is a boutique litigation law firm located in Markham, just outside of Toronto and within easy reach of all GTA court locations.

Our practice is restricted to defending professional liability claims.

We act as lead counsel for a major Ontario real estate professional liability program, and are privileged to be one of five firms in Ontario to defend real estate agents against professional negligence claims. In this program, Powell Barrister Professional Corporation has files at all levels in every court throughout the province of Ontario.

Our firm acts as independent legal counsel at Discipline Committee and Appeals Committee hearings for the Real Estate Council of Ontario.

We also focus on error and omissions liability defence with respect to lawyers in all levels of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
