Christopher Tucker
Christopher Tucker joined Powell Barrister Professional Corporation in 2010 as an associate lawyer, practicing exclusively in the area of professional negligence.
He was called to the bar in 2009, and prior to joining the firm practiced family law and civil litigation in Waterloo, Ontario. He was a summer student, and articled, at a Toronto litigation boutique, where he assisted counsel in real estate litigation, employment law, personal injury, professional negligence and general civil litigation.
Christopher's practice focuses on defending professionals from allegations of negligence with respect to claims against real estate agents and lawyers.

- University of Waterloo, Ph.D. in Philosophy, 2001
While at Osgoode he received the J.D.S. Tory Research and Writing Award, and his mooting team placed first in the Fraser Milner Casgrain Gale Cup, a national competition.
At Waterloo, Christopher received both Ontario Graduate Scholarships and a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Doctoral Fellowship. He specialized in ethics, rational choice theory and game theory.
Life Beyond Law
Christopher has taught at Duke University as the Gerst Post-Doctoral Fellow, and has taught at several universities in Canada.
